The Minutes of a Parish Meeting held in the Village Hall on March 21st 1939.
It was resolved that the Yorkshire Council of the British Empire Cancer Campaign be supported and that a 'Flag Day' be held in the parish on May 20th 1939 as requested. It was further resolved that the appointment of 'Pump Oiler' be terminated owing to the pump having become derelict.
